So when does it waiver from collage to mixed media?
ReplyDeleteThat's a good question...here's what I know: mixed media (artworks employing more than one medium) is the broader term, collage is a subset of mixed media. "Collage" is derived from the French "coller" meaning "to glue." So broadly defined, collage is cutting and pasting, combining different forms to create a new whole.
